Position Overview
As a Innovation On-Site Specialist, you will promote, demonstrate, and develop relationships for the full range of Makita products, including Industrial Tools, Outdoor Power Equipment, Cordless Tools, Cleaning Equipment, and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with end users and distributors.
2. Product Demonstrations: Conduct demonstrations and training sessions.
3. Reporting: Provide updates on activities, market trends, and feedback.
4. Equipment Management: Manage your demonstration kit and sales materials.
5. Business Development: Identify new opportunities within your territory.
6. Events and Exhibitions: Represent Makita at trade shows and product days.
7. Activity Reporting: Record call activities and mileage efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven hands-on experience in tools, construction, or outdoor power equipment industries.
* Knowledge of power tools, especially industrial, cordless, outdoor, and cleaning products (experience with Makita is a plus).
* Customer-centric mindset and strong relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Organized with good time management; basic IT skills required.
* Full UK driver’s license and willingness to travel, including some weekends and overnight stays.
