Vertu Land Rover Chesterfield is expanding, and we're looking for a Prep Technician to join our supportive and forward‑thinking team.
We offer a basic salary between £28,000 and £35,000, depending on your skills and experience. This is based on a 40‑hour working week, with Saturdays paid as overtime, plus the opportunity to earn an additional over‑performance bonus.
What You'll Do
As a Vehicle Technician focused on pre‑delivery preparation, you'll play an important role in ensuring every customer receives a vehicle they can trust. Your responsibilities will include:
Completing high‑quality pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
Following manufacturer guidelines and working to agreed timeframes
Maintaining strong productivity levels
Delivering friendly, transparent and reliable customer service
Ensuring first‑time fixes and consistently high workmanship
What You'll Bring

A relevant Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification
Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
Your own tools
A full UK driving licence
