Job Description

As Stakeholder Liaison Manager you will have a key role using your expertise to support Allelys’ engagement with multiple stakeholders with interests in the route approval, enabling and post-works process.

Working with project managers and specialist transport route planners, you will play a key role coordinating, planning and taking action to streamline the processes associated with successful route planning and execution.

You will be engaged with a number of external parties, including Highways UK, police forces across the UK, local councils and a wide range of specialist enabling works providers.

You will contribute to a culture that ensures projects are delivered safely, on time and to project budget.

You will recognise the need to foster strong relationships with your contact base and the wider Allelys business functions. Effective communication and a responsive, empathy-based approach will be critical to success.

You will be highly organised, target driven, a dynamic communicator, and thrive working to deadlines.

Key accountabilities

* Ensuring communications from National Highways, structure owners, councils etc are replied to promptly, professionally and with clarity.
* Regular communication with our existing specialist route planner, project managers and engineers to overcome issues and establish solutions.
* Identification and communication of risks associated with route feasibility and/or stakeholder concerns.

Key responsibilities

* Support both our existing specialist transport route planning team and project management team.
* Supporting the management of a portfolio of ongoing projects spanning multiple industries and disciplines.
* Develop technical competency as regards understanding transport arrangements and the impact on route planning requirements.
* Primary point of contact for external route and enabling works stakeholders, attending and leading calls/meetings where required.
* Developing Allelys profile amongst national stakeholders by working with project leads to understand concerns and challenges and to deploy workable strategies to mitigate.
* Reporting to senior stakeholders within the Allelys business.
* Work in synergy with wider business units to provide seamless projects.
* Ongoing liaison with specialist transport route planner.

Skills & Qualifications

* Previous haulage route planning experience ideal but not essential.
* Previous road network experience would be ideal but not essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Full driving licence, Cat B.
* Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office.
* Excellent organisation skills.
* The ability to work as part of a team as well as under your own initiative.
* Open to travel, with occasional nights away when required to attend meetings.

Salary

* Dependent upon experience
