Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician with solid experience in 3-phase 400V systems, installations, and industrial electrical troubleshooting. The role involves the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical wiring and equipment in a factory environment. This position may require occasional work on customer sites across the UK and abroad to support service, installation and commissioning. Some travel may involve overnight stays.
Responsibilities
* Install, assemble, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, working independently or as part of a team
* Follow safe working procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
* Use workshop tools (hand and power tools) safely and effectively
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment
* Demonstrate basic mechanical understanding when interacting with machinery
* Possess a working knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VSDs (Variable Speed Drives)
* Communicate clearly with team members and other departments
* Perform other related duties as required to support team objectives
Qualifications
* Time-served apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical training in electrical installation and maintenance
* 18th Edition
* Full UK driving licence
* 20 days annual holiday, Bank Holidays and long service scheme
* Extra day holiday for your birthday
