In-House Solicitor
(Full-time or Part-time, 4 days office-based / 1 day remote)
Exciting new In-House Solicitor opportunity to join our clients growing In-House legal team, based in the Greater London/Essex area (easily commutable by public transport from London and surrounding areas). This is an excellent opportunity to play a central role in a private sector organisation, with strong prospects for progression and development.
The Role
You will advise on a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on:
* Housing law (contentious and non contentious)
* Property law (commercial and residential)
Exposure to other areas such as commercial contracts, governance, litigation, or dispute resolution would be an advantage.
The role will involve providing practical, solutions-focused advice to the business and supporting colleagues across multiple functions. You will also have the opportunity to supervise and support junior team members, so prior experience in supervision or mentoring is desirable.
About You
We are looking for a UK-qualified solicitor or Barrister with:
* 3+ years PQE (up to senior level) with a solid grounding in housing and/or property law
* Experience supervising or supporting junior lawyers/paralegals (preferred)
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to balance legal risk against commercial objectives
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
* Experience working with or advising the public sector (e.g. councils, housing associations) would be a significant advantage
What’s on Offer
* Market rate salary (considered on a case-by-case basis)
* Flexible working arrangements: full-time or part-time opportunities available
* Office-based role (will consider minimum 4 days per week, with 1 day remote working)
* Genuine career progression prospects within a supportive and forward-thinking business
