Overview
Computershare offers an excellent opportunity to join our Global Information Security (GIS) team as an IAM Practitioner. The GIS team drives the development, deployment and management of information and cyber security across Computershare businesses, globally. Through partnerships with business units, Technology Services and other support functions, the GIS team actively supports business objectives while reducing overall composite risk.
In GIS, the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team provides governance that enables the right individuals to access the right resources at the right times for the right reasons. The IAM Practitioner works alongside the IAM Strategy & Enablement, Operations and Access teams, as well as the wider GIS team, to help develop and mature IAM capabilities for the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the GIS leadership team to identify opportunities and implement ways to mature the IAM/PAM capability.
* Take the lead in ownership and delivery of the IAM transformational programme initiatives with the IAM Specialist, ensuring delivery of related processes and technologies into operational tasks for 1st line teams.
* Direct the work of analysts and check their work for accuracy and quality.
* Identify missing IAM processes and make tactical and strategic recommendations for options to address them, based on risk, scale and long‑term maintainability.
* Maintain the annual plan to keep IAM processes and technologies aligned with best‑practice security requirements and global events.
* Enforce IAM requirements, draft new IAM guidance and patterns, and support existing systems in accordance with standards, guidelines and procedures.
* Contribute to IAM roadmap activities, including technology upgrades, new integrations and process maturity improvements.
* Maintain and improve documentation such as process flows, requirements and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Hands‑on experience with IAM/PAM tooling such as SailPoint and CyberArk.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Entra ID and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
* Experience operating IAM within regulated environments (e.g., ISO27001, GDPR).
* Capability in designing IAM controls such as Role‑Based Access Controls (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign‑On (SSO).
Preferred:
* Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Identity certifications or similar.
* Experience across both on‑premise and cloud environments.
* Familiarity and understanding of broader Information Security concepts as they relate to IAM.
