Electrician

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician for an exciting contract opportunity within a highly technical industrial and engineering environment based in Oxfordshire. This role offers the chance to work on complex electrical systems, plant upgrades, maintenance projects, and engineering improvements within a large-scale operational facility. The Role The successful candidate will provide electrical support across a range of operational and project activities. You will be involved in electrical design support, fault investigation, commissioning, maintenance planning, and technical problem solving within a safety-critical environment. Key Responsibilities Support electrical engineering and maintenance activities across site Provide technical expertise for electrical systems and infrastructure Assist with design reviews, modifications, and upgrades Carry out fault finding and root cause analysis on electrical equipment Support commissioning and testing activities Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation Ensure compliance with electrical standards, regulations, and safe systems of work Liaise with multidisciplinary engineering teams and contractors Contribute to project delivery and operational reliability improvements Requirements Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Proven experience within industrial, manufacturing, process, or engineering environments Strong understanding of electrical power distribution and control systems Experience with industrial plant equipment and maintenance practices Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and safety standards Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Desirable Experience Experience working within highly regulated or safety-critical environments HV/LV systems experience PLC, instrumentation, or control systems knowledge Commissioning or project engineering experience Previous experience on large industrial or research facilities Why Apply?
