Overview
Aspire People are currently recruiting healthcare teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Scunthorpe.
Role
The role is a long-term opportunity starting after the summer break on a rolling contract, with the option to go permanent. The pay rate is up to 107 per day. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30.
Responsibilities
* Work one-to-one with students in KS1 and KS2.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and other teaching assistants.
* Develop social and cognitive development in students.
* Provide support in personal care as required, including changing nappies when needed.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience working in the care sector and an interest in utilising those skills within education.
* Open to candidates from an education background or those who have worked in Healthcare/Support Work.
