Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Warnham, Horsham
Salary: Up to £44,878 (inclusive of allowances/bonuses)
Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm, 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

The Role
We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the in-house maintenance team at their Warnham site. You will play a key role in keeping plant machinery running smoothly through troubleshooting, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and hands-on repairs.
This is a varied and dynamic role, combining electrical, mechanical, fabrication, welding, and service engineering skills. Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will directly contribute to the efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement of production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out essential maintenance across plant machinery
* Assist in developing the agility maintenance system
* Attend breakdowns and restore equipment quickly
* Install and maintain plant machinery to high standards
* Maintain machine safety standards and manage critical spares
* Improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
* Promote Lean thinking and continuous improvement
* Use diagnostic and testing equipment to locate and fix faults
* Contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation
* Adhere to quality standards in line with BSEN ISO 9001
Full training and PPE will be provided to ensure you can work safely and effectively.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Apprentice-trained or time-served as a multi skilled engineer
* NVQ 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
* Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
* Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical control systems
* IT skills - working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* High standards of health & safety awareness
Desirable:
* Awareness of IOSH
* Experience in continuous improvement or Lean initiatives
