Job Description
3. Process and manage accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
4. Prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner
5. Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received as per agreed terms
6. Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly
7. Maintain accurate financial records and update the accounting system regularly
8. Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable
9. Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments professionally
10. Credit control - both over phone and email
11. Support the accounting and finance team with additional tasks as needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:
12. Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related role in accounting and finance
13. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
15. Confidence and excellent telephone manner
