Overview

Senior Support Worker · Location: Melksham · Pay Rate starting at: £13.34ph + Enhancements · Contract: 30 hours

Typical shifts are on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday.

Role Summary

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential Service. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people.

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while assisting the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service. Responsibilities may include allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting supervision, ordering medications, and ensuring the people we support are helped to manage their finances. You’ll keep sight of why you do this, as our seniors remain at the heart of day-to-day support.

This is an amazing role for someone who wants to make a difference to the lives of others, whether that’s helping colleagues grow in confidence or supporting the people we serve to meet their goals.


Qualifications & Experience

We’re looking for Senior Support Workers with the right experience and values. For this service, seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
