Position Overview
The Repair Specialist performs vehicle glass repairs that do not require full replacements. We offer paid, formal training to teach you the necessary skills, regardless of prior mechanical experience.
What You'll Get

What You'll Do
* Learn to repair vehicle glass through classroom instruction and hands-on practice, following the Safelite Way of Fitting under the guidance of experienced technicians and leaders.
* Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
* Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using Safelite's Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
* Clean customer vehicles during wait times and perform housekeeping tasks in the shop and on company vehicles.
* Operate a company fleet vehicle safely and professionally to and from customer locations.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
* Valid state-issued driver's license.
* Completion of Safelite SafeTech certification and on-the-job training.
* Ability to operate a Safelite van following safety and traffic laws, maintaining a safe driving record.
* Flexibility with working hours and days as needed.
* Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Professional appearance and use of personal protective equipment.
* Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., assist with windshields weighing 26-50 lbs., operate tools, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
