Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Merthyr Tydfil Combined Court Centre, The Law Courts, CF47 8BH on a permanent basis working 23 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £15,.16 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
Monday and Tuesday 7am - 12.3pm
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7am - 11am
What will you deliver?
Reporting to the facilities supervisor for HMCTS, the Cleaning Supervisor will be the lead for the cleaning teams for their HMCTS site.
Responsibilities
To manage the standards to meet our contractual obligations
To manage the standards by supporting in self-auditing
To support in stock management/ordering
To deliver of toolbox talks
To lead and motivate the cleaning team to enable contribution to the best of their ability and maximise their potential
Cleaning duties
To organise cover for sickness/annual leave
Leading & Influencing
Creates a positive working environment which encourages development and maximising of potential of all team members
To lead by example and act as a hands-on train the trainer to ensure that cleaning methodologies are maintained in accordance with the contract

Performance (both good and poor) is recognised and actioned appropriately
For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.
BPSS Quick Guide
In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.
These checks typically include:
1. Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
2. Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
3. Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
4. Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
5. Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.
