Overview
My client, an innovative and forward-thinking manufacturing organisation, is looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to join their team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in enhancing production quality, developing robust process controls, and supporting the introduction of new products and processes within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
You will play a key role in deploying the Business Management System, supporting new product and process introductions, and ensuring standardised methodologies are followed throughout the production facility.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Engineering & Process Control
1. Manage day-to-day Quality Engineering activities within the assigned value stream.
2. Apply standard Quality and Process Engineering tools to ensure accurate and consistent quality activity across the organisation.
3. Lead APQP implementation within the value stream.
4. Complete PFMEA and Control Plans for production processes.
5. Develop, implement, and maintain robust process controls to support high product and process quality.
