HGV Technician
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic (DOE)
Shift: Day Shifts
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified technician looking to work day shifts with excellent earning potential and ongoing training and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of HGVs
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
* Undertake vehicle inspections in line with DVSA standards
* Prepare vehicles for MOT
* Complete relevant paperwork and job cards accurately
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
* Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - essential
* Previous experience working on HGVs
* Class 1 (C+E) licence desirable
* IRTEC accreditation desirable
* LOLER certification desirable
* Tachograph certification desirable
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
