We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrical Improver to assist our skilled electricians on various commercial projects. This role involves supporting qualified electricians with installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in developing a career in the electrical field and a willingness to learn on the job.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings.
Preparing and tidying job sites, ensuring a safe and organised workspace.
Handling and organising tools, materials, and equipment as directed.
Following safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
Assisting with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues.
Learning and applying essential electrical skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or a construction-based environment is preferred but not essential.
Qualifications: Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial; however, full training will be provided.
Skills: Good communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Teamwork: Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work well in a team environment.
Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence is advantageous.
