Do you: • Put patients first • Show compassion, caring and kindness • Treat everyone with dignity and respect • Take time to maintain open, effective communication and take accountability • Work as part of a team to deliver excellent treatment and care Our Acute 24‑bedded Respiratory Ward is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our innovative team. You will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions. Hours: 24.5 hours per week (11.5‑hour shifts, rotational days/nights). For informal enquiries, please contact SCN Suzanne McCall on 01592 643355 ext 29668 * Please note this post may close early due to anticipated level of applicants* As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected. A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment. To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service. As part of the pre-employment checks for a preferred candidate, NHS Scotland Boards will check your entitlement to work in the UK.
