Job Title: Driver's Mate - Furniture Delivery
Location: Normanton
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am-2:00pm & 1:30pm-10:00pm
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Driver's Mate to join our delivery team in Normanton. This role involves assisting drivers with the delivery of both flatpack and pre-built furniture to customers' homes and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the driver with loading and unloading furniture
Delivering items safely and efficiently to customers
Supporting with heavy lifting and manual handling
Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time
Helping with basic assembly where required
What We're Looking For:
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Good communication and customer service skills
Flexible to work both shift patterns
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
