Job Description
Roborough Surgery is a friendly single site practice in the North of Plymouth providing primary health care for around 11,000 patients. We are also part of Drake Medical Alliance Primary Care Network, working closely with our member practices and ARRS staff to provide a comprehensive package of care and services to our patients to meet the demands of the modern general practice.

* Excellent clinical team (4 GP partners plus Salaried GPs, 2 ANPs, Mental Health Practitioner, Specialist Diabetes & Long-term conditions Practice Nurse, 2 Practice Nurses, GP Assistant & HCA, Phlebotomist)
* Access to a large team of ARRS staff including Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Acute Care Practitioners, Frailty Nurse, Care Home Team, Care Coordinators, Occupational Therapist, Social Prescribers and First Contact Physiotherapists.
* We have a positive, supportive and non-hierarchical atmosphere.
We are looking for an enthusiastic 6 session General Practitioner to join our committed and hardworking team of doctors; an interest in Women’s Health and/or LARC contraceptives would be desirable. Our GPs are supported by dedicated and proactive Nursing, administrative and management teams. We meet for a morning ‘huddle’ to start each day on a positive note and discuss any issues that need to be shared; the practice is consistently high QOF performing and our CQC rating is Good with regular positive reviews; we support each other and have ‘each other’s back’ so we are never working alone.
Working pattern
As a practice we are keen to be flexible with our team to maintain a healthy work/life balance, so are happy to discuss sessions and days with you. We offer 15-minute face to face appointments as standard, protected time each day for completion of pathology, workflow, administration, and we outsource our private medical work.
