Painters Ash Primary School is looking to appoint an Office Manager to manage a busy school office, line manage the administration staff, and provide support to the Headteacher.
The successful applicant will be well-organised, proactive, and resilient. School office experience is essential, as well as experience working with the public and handling confidential issues.
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing the school office and staff
2. Assisting parents with queries
3. Handling recruitment processes
4. Supporting the Headteacher and SLT members
5. Problem-solving and finding solutions during the school day
The candidate must be computer literate; knowledge of Arbor or other pupil databases like SIMS is beneficial. Training on Arbor will be provided if needed. If you can work under tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure, consider applying for this position.
Working hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 4 Staff Development Days).
Salary: FTE £26,393, with actual salary approximately £17,700 per annum.
