About The Role
Sora Bar & Restaurant Manager, Malmaison York
£35,000, 45 hours per week

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, bubbly, organised and meticulous individual with a passion for excellent customer service. You will have experience running high‑end bars and/or restaurants and want the opportunity to develop yourself further. As Sora Manager you will be a hands‑on operator who motivates, educates and inspires the team. You will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences, supporting internal development and progression towards a Senior Head of Department position.
Responsibilities
• Operate the sky bar, provide top‑class service and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
• Motivate and inspire the team, delivering consistent, reliable, and high‑quality service.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, ensuring a positive guest experience each day.
• Support development and progression of other staff, preparing them for future leadership opportunities.
Qualifications
• Proven high‑end bar and/or restaurant experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for memorable guest experiences.
• Strong leadership, motivation and communication skills.
• Ability to develop staff, preparing team members for future leadership opportunities.
• Eager to learn, develop, and grow in a dynamic, evolving environment.
