Student/Academic Engagement and Wellbeing Coach at The Delta Education Trust
Role: Student/Academic Engagement and Wellbeing Coach – Delta Bespoke, part of Delta Education Trust. 37 hours per week, Term Time Only, Permanent.
Salary: £27,814 to £31,688 per annum, pro rata to £23,802 to £27,117 per annum for term time only working, plus generous pension and sick pay scheme.
Location: Multiple areas including the New Forest, Portsmouth and the wider Dorset area. A full driving licence with business insurance is essential. Student allocation will be based on location to limit travel.
Responsibilities
* Be the trusted 1:1 coach for students, meeting them at home or in the community to help them re-engage with learning.
* Help students boost confidence, self-esteem, and emotional literacy so they feel ready to take on new challenges.
* Encourage attendance and keep students motivated, even on challenging days.
* Monitor emotional and engagement progress, celebrate wins and spot when extra support is needed.
* Work closely with families, schools, and the Delta team to ensure everyone is aligned.
* Create and adapt strategies to help students break through barriers and move toward personal goals.
* Support transitions back into school, college, or other next steps so students feel prepared and supported.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and complete paperwork required for schools or external agencies.
* Always put safeguarding first, following Delta Bespoke policies to keep students safe and supported.
