HR & Recruitment Administrator Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 Location: Corston Architectural Detail, Malmesbury (5 days per week on‑site) Reports to: Group HR Manager Contract: Full-time, permanent Hours: Monday to Friday Role Purpose The HR & Recruitment Administrator will provide hands‑on, operational HR support across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations and HRIS administration. Working closely with the Group HR Manager, you will ensure consistent, compliant, and professional HR practices across the business, acting as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees. This role suits an HR professional preferably qualified to CIPD Level 3 who is keen to develop further within a generalist HR position. INDUK Key Responsibilities Employee Relations Support and advise managers on day‑to‑day employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, probation, and performance issues. Attend and support investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings, preparing accurate notes and documentation. Ensure ER cases are managed in line with company policy, employment law, and best practice. Escalate complex cases to the Group HR Manager as appropriate. HR Documentation & Administration Draft, issue and manage HR documentation including: Contracts of employment and amendments Offer letters Probation letters Disciplinary, grievance and outcome letters Absence and performance-related correspondence Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR requirements. Support onboarding processes, including right‑to‑work checks and induction documentation. Policy & Process Support Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures. Support the update and continuous improvement of HR policies and templates. Provide clear guidance to managers and employees on HR processes. Support to Group HR Manager Act as a key support to the Group HR Manager across operational HR activities. Assist with HR projects as required (e.g. policy updates, process improvements). Produce basic HR data and reports where required. INDUK Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Essential CIPD Level 3 qualification preferably (or working towards). Previous experience in a similar HR Advisory or HR Officer role. Practical experience supporting employee relations cases. Strong written skills with confidence drafting formal HR correspondence. Solid understanding of UK employment law fundamentals. Used to working in a highly confidential setting with access to sensitive information. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work on‑site 5 days per week. INDUK Desirable Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or design-led environment would be highly advantageous. CIPD Level 3 (or aspiration to work towards).
