Role Description
This is a full-time role, based in Basingstoke, with the option for some work-from-home flexibility. As the Financial Director & Operations lead, you will oversee strategic financial planning, prepare and review financial statements, and report on the company’s financial performance. You will also manage operational budgets, monitor financial risks, and provide analytical insights to support decision-making. The role involves active collaboration with multiple departments to align financial and operational strategies.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Financial Planning, Finance, and managing operational budgets
* Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
* Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams
* Knowledge of the banking or retail industry is highly desirable
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
* Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or similar are a plus
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* FCA experience a benefit.
