This senior clinical leader will be tasked with guaranteeing safe and high-quality nursing care, fostering staff development, and implementing best practices. This position also has a strategic focus on mentoring and advising community services, enhancing the businesses integration as a partner within local health and social care systems.
About the Role
Responsibilities include overseeing clinical governance at the service level, ensuring that strong systems are established to monitor and enhance care quality throughout the home and across the broader service portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Act as a mentor to nursing and care staff.
* Provide input to external community services including domiciliary care, district nursing, primary care, and therapy teams.
* Develop integrated care pathways that enhance continuity, reduce avoidable hospital admissions
* Provide mentorship and supervision for Registered Nurses, care staff, students, and newly qualified nurses.
* Facilitate reflective practice and promote a strong learning culture.
* Support succession planning and leadership development within the care home.
* Lead audits, supervision, and reflective practice to ensure safe effective care.
* Monitor key quality metrics and implement improvement plans.
* Develop and lead on clinical policies and procedures in line with regulatory and professional standards.
Renumeration
The role offers a daily pay rate of £250 - £350, depending on experience, and is inside IR35.
