We’re looking for a Customer Marketing Lead to take charge of an award-winning whisky portfolio, spearheading campaigns, partnerships, and activations across both the On and Off Trade.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to focus exclusively on a portfolio of premium single malts and blended whiskies. You'll work closely with brand, sales, and customer teams to deliver compelling marketing activity aligned with brand strategy and customer objectives. From prestige partnerships to disruptive new product launches, you'll play a central role in how our whiskies are seen, shared, and sold.
Key Responsibilities
On-Trade (25%)
* Lead bespoke marketing campaigns for high-end, fine & rare releases
* Develop tailored POS materials and customer proposals for prestige accounts
* Collaborate with trade ambassadors to deliver immersive brand experiences
* Support wider visibility and trial initiatives for premium SKUs
Destination Retail & eCommerce (25%)
* Shape the Specialist Retail communication strategy with engaging storytelling
* Deliver shopper marketing assets across digital and physical touchpoints
* Manage flagship activations and cross-channel customer collaborations
* Support the evolution of eCommerce strategies and tools
Grocery & Off Trade (20%)
* Build and deliver omni-channel campaigns during peak trading periods
* Utilise CRM and social media to drive consumer recruitment and retention
* Provide ROI insights, shopper data, and campaign analysis for internal and external stakeholders
* Support quarterly reviews and customer presentations
General Marketing & Commercial Support (20%)
* Develop and execute the UK Customer Marketing strategy
* Deliver toolkits and trade-facing materials for core and new product launches
* Manage marketing budgets, reporting, and internal communication of plans
Team Leadership (10%)
* Manage and develop a Senior Customer Marketing Executive
* Lead effective planning and execution across internal and external stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in customer or trade marketing within premium spirits, luxury FMCG, or hospitality
* A creative, commercially savvy mindset with strong project management skills
* Deep understanding of the path-to-purchase and shopper behaviour
* Ability to influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally
* CRM knowledge and a drive to connect brand purpose with consumer action
* Confidence working with prestige accounts and high-net-worth audiences is a plus
