Order Processor & Technical Customer Service Representative
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
Start Date: Immediate start
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (4:30pm on a Friday!!)
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Order Processor & Technical Customer Service Representative to join their friendly fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in the PVC and aluminium window industry looking to contribute to a growing and customer-focused company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process customer quotes and orders promptly and accurately.
2. Identify and raise any potential issues relating to quotes or orders.
3. Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
5. Liaise with suppliers and place orders for specific materials as needed.
6. Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure smooth and efficient order processing.
7. Monitor order progress proactively and keep all stakeholders updated.
8. Collaborate with internal departments, colleagues, suppliers, and customers to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.
9. Amend quotes and orders when customer requirements change.
10. Maintain accurate filing systems, both digital and physical.
Requirements:
11. Experience in the PVC and aluminium windows industry is essential.
12. Proficient in using Evolution software (PVC) and Logikal software (Aluminium).
13. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
14. Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer care.
