Are you a skilled CNC Turner looking for your next move? We’re working with a well-established precision engineering company in Poole, Dorset, who are looking for a talented Turner / Setter / Programmer / Operator to join their growing team.
This is a thriving subcontract manufacturer producing precision machined components for diverse sectors – medical, oil and gas, electronics, and general industrial. With a worldwide client base and a reputation built on quality, they’re investing in their team to take on more complex work and continue their growth trajectory.
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning centres (Nakamura, Goodway, CMZ lathes)
* Working with Fanuc controls across a variety of machines
* Producing precision components to ±0.05mm tolerances
* Handling batch runs from 10 to 500 pieces across multiple sectors
* Inspecting your own work to drawing specifications
* Running multiple machines and contributing to a collaborative shop floor culture
* 2–3+ years’ CNC turning experience (programming, setting, and operating)
* Confidence reading and working from engineering drawings
* Self-motivated, independent, and happy to get stuck in
* Time-served or apprenticeship background preferred
* Experience on Dugard sub-spindle type lathes is a bonus!
* £19–£20/hr with overtime at 1.5x
* Flexible working patterns – choose from 37, 39, or 40-hour weeks
* 4-day week or 4.5-day week options available
