The School
York Business School was officially launched in 2018 following over 25 years of the delivery of Business and Management education at York St John University. It is an ambitious and innovative business school where students are at the centre of everything we do. The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time Lecturer to contribute to our vibrant portfolios in both Fashion Marketing and Business Management, who can teach digital literacy across social media, AR, AI and User experience, and deliver quantitative research methods and other business management subjects. As a large school teaching a range of programmes, there are many opportunities to get involved in different subject areas and be part of a thriving and growing academic and research culture.
* Teach in a variety of settings across both subject areas, including small group tutorials/seminars and lectures.
* Assess students and provide pastoral and academic support.
* Develop a solid research profile in management or the related field.
Required Skills and Experience
* Expertise in teaching Fashion Marketing and willingness to teach across Business Management at undergraduate level.
* Digital literacy in social media marketing; experience with AI, AR, and user experience is advantageous.
* Teaching experience in quantitative research methods and dissertation supervision; knowledge of general Business Management areas is preferred.
* Industry experience in Fashion Marketing is of interest.
