About The Role
As a Night Senior Care Assistant at Lime Trees, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our care. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. And, by joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
In this role, you will plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You'll get to know residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your duties include assisting with daily activities, supporting end-of-life care, communicating with families, and administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you should recognize signs of abuse or neglect and know how to act. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
