The Associate Director or Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering group capital projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, maintaining high standards in project governance, health and safety, stakeholder coordination, and risk management while supporting the client’s operational and sustainability goals. Note: This role requires on-site presence, at Great Yarmouth Port. A minimum of 3 to 4 days is expected to be on-site, with 5-day requirement during busier periods. You’ll be responsible for: Managing end‑to‑end project delivery aligned with strategic and NEC requirements. Managing programmes, risks, early warnings and compensation events. Overseeing commercial governance, budgets and cost reporting. Coordinating stakeholders, contractors and operational interfaces. Ensuring quality, compliance, safety and sustainability standards. Maintaining robust reporting, documentation and contract administration. Ensuring full operational and security compliance, completing all client‑mandated inductions. Aligning project delivery with sustainability priorities, supporting carbon‑reduction initiatives. Engaging in governance forums and collaborate with finance, procurement and legal teams. Contributing to post‑project reviews, promoting continuous improvement and shared learning. You’ll need to have: Extensive project management experience in major civil, marine or port‑focused infrastructure. Strong NEC contract expertise with proven delivery in complex, live operational environments. Degree‑qualified with relevant safety accreditation and preferred professional membership. Skilled in leadership, stakeholder engagement, financial control and high‑quality project governance.
