Caretaker – Driving Licence needed in Bolton, £12.93ph PAYE – Reference: 000A 3373 / 1
This temporary position is available while external recruitment takes place, for a minimum of 12 weeks. You will work as part of a team to provide facilities management for the Family Hubs across the borough, following standard operating procedures.
1. Your responsibilities include maintaining site security, opening and closing buildings, and ensuring all facilities are in excellent condition, safe, secure, and clean. You will also maintain equipment and resources.
Duties include:
o General repairs and maintenance.
o Manual handling.
o Building and ground upkeep.
o Reporting maintenance issues.
o Conducting fire safety and health and safety checks.
An essential car user allowance is provided for boroughwide travel between centres.
You will work on a rota, with hours between 7am and 6.30pm, including some later shifts until 9pm, and Saturday work on a shared rota. Flexibility is essential.
This is a full-time, temporary contract.
