Your new role The Investment Operations teams in Australia, the UK and the US provide pre‑ and post‑trade and transaction support to our Investments colleagues—ensuring accurate and timely investment books of record (Aladdin and Calypso) and managing key third‑party vendors. As Senior Manager, Public Market Operations & Treasury Middle Office UK, you will lead the London‑based teams supporting public market and treasury investment activity. You will ensure the consistent, efficient and accurate execution of operational responsibilities across trading and lifecycle activities for equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, exchange‑traded products, money market instruments and OTC derivatives, aligned to regulatory obligations and strong risk governance. You will also play a key role in realising the benefits of a fully embedded “follow‑the‑sun” operating model, partnering closely with global counterparts in Australia and the US to deliver seamless investment operations support. Key Responsibilities Operational leadership & delivery Own and lead investment operations delivery for public markets and treasury activity in London, ensuring high‑quality pre‑ and post‑trade support across UK hours Ensure operational processes and systems are robust, scalable and aligned to regional investment activity Drive continuous improvement, efficiency initiatives and a strong “one global team” culture to support growth Risk, controls & governance Identify and address operational risks, control gaps and resourcing challenges, strengthening operational resilience and governance Maintain strong incident management, risk reporting and compliance oversight aligned to the Fund’s Risk Management Framework and regulatory requirements Stakeholder & vendor management Build effective, collaborative relationships with global stakeholders, including portfolio managers, traders, risk, compliance, finance, custodians and systems vendors Partner closely with internal and external providers to optimise operational outcomes What You’ll Need Proven experience managing multi‑asset investment operations Significant investment operations experience within an FCA‑regulated asset manager or pension fund Strong knowledge of public markets and treasury instruments (equities, fixed income, FX, ETFs, money markets and OTC derivatives) Demonstrated global team leadership capability with a strong risk, control and governance mindset Excellent people leadership experience, with the ability to build high‑performing, engaged teams Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting complex issues to senior leadership Experience delivering efficiency, change or transformation initiatives Experience with investment operations systems, ideally BlackRock Aladdin and/or Calypso This position is based at London King’s Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund’s global portfolio, with a hybrid work schedule.
