The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll be a key part of a close-knit team supporting children who have experienced trauma - helping to create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where growth is possible. Your role will be hands-on, emotionally intelligent, and deeply rewarding, requiring empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to reflective practice. You’ll be responsible for:
1. Supporting daily routines, activities, and emotional well-being
2. Managing and de-escalating challenging situations with empathy
3. Encouraging independence, education, and life skills
4. Being a trusted role model - showing patience, resilience, and compassion
5. Creating a safe, nurturing, and stable home environment

What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
6. Willingness to work towards a QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare
7. Commitment to working a shift pattern including sleep in duties + overtime
8. Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
9. Experience in CAMHS or mental health nursing
