The Cumberland Safeguarding Hub are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Advanced Practitioner, to join a service that is passionate about making the right decisions for children and families at the right time.
Cumberland Safeguarding Hub has a responsibility to accurately identify the needs of children, young people and their parents and carers and to ensure that the appropriate services and support are provided at the right time allowing safeguarding outcomes to be achieved.
As Advanced Practitioner in the Safeguarding Hub you will be part of an experienced multi-agency team working collaboratively and efficiently to make good decisions which keep children safe. You will have oversight of all contacts which are made to Cumberland Safeguarding Hub, be able to respond to risk and understand how to prioritise safeguarding and support needs for children.
You will have responsibility for the supervision of staff, undertake audits and lead on practice development across the service and with individual staff. You will need to be able evidence that you can work creatively to meet the diverse needs of children who live predominantly in rural communities.
