We are currently out to market for a single managed service provider to provide and manage our future network across the entire estate. As part of our enabling works, we are looking to onboard a Project Support Officer (PSO) with some experience of scheduling visits and liaising with site contacts to report directly to the Programme Manager.
This is a full-time contract working Monday-Friday during standard working hours, with an expected duration of 12 months+. It is a hybrid role with an onsite presence of 3 days per week.
Core Skills
The successful candidate should have the following:
* Experience in dealing with queries as a first point of contact – desirable
* Experience of working in project management and/or Programme Management Office (PMO) - essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation and supply chain
* Intermediate level ability for Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
* Experience producing dashboards for management reporting - desirable
* Existing clearance, or an ability to pass SC/NPPV3 security clearance.
Core Duties
The successful candidate will be expected to:
* Planning and scheduling meetings and site visits including the liaison with site contacts
* Act as a focal point for all queries relating to the programme activities via dedicated Future Network Teams channels and email address
* Maintain programme registers and logs and maintain accurate records in the project management system.
* Assist in the production, maintenance, and distribution of reports.
* Facilitate workshops and take meeting notes.
* Provide administrative support for meetings, including agendas and minutes for board meetings
