We are seeking a proactive and experienced Gas Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our responsive maintenance contract in Barnsley. You will be responsible for managing a team of schedulers and gas engineers, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance across all aspects of the contract.
The Vacancy
* Oversee the daily running of the gas contract, supported by an established team of schedulers and engineers.
* Ensure full compliance with the Wates Operating Framework and all relevant gas safety regulations.
* Manage quality control across internal teams and subcontractors delivering gas works.
* Provide technical support for ongoing gas-related tasks and projects.
* Monitor and drive team productivity to meet client KPIs for gas servicing and repairs
Key Accountabilities

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have
* A valid Domestic Gas Qualification.
* Proven experience managing a gas contract.
* Strong understanding of gas legislation and regulatory requirements.
* SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme - desirable qualification, not a must)
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
