Warehouse (forklift) Operative Hours: 8am to 4.45pm, Mon-Fri (15min break, 30mins lunch)_40 hours per week Other: 25dys leave per annum (plus Bank Holidays) / pension / free parking The role of Warehouse (forklift) Operative is integral to Franklite Limited operational aims, and suits a hands on, dynamic, experienced, and motivated self starter. This role has a 6 month probation period from commencement. Key Responsibilities Picking, packing and despatching of goods, pallets and parcels Box/card/other consumables checks Daily, monthly FLT checks Receipt, QC/checking/return of all goods inwards, allocating to warehouse and outstanding sales orders Liaising with hauliers for etas, prices and services Arranging collection of rubbish bin and waste paper (only if necessary refer line manager) Analysis of despatch orders End of day system despatching and invoicing Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace Liaising with customer services to fulfil the orders and to minimise any delays or concerns from the customers Arranging collections Problem solving Brochure/literature administration Liaising with other key stakeholders/depts to produce more effective and efficient procedures Maintaining a clean and H&S conscious working environment both int/ext inc. use of PPE Key competency (and not limited to) Professionalism/work ethic Good/effective communication Decision making/problem solving ability Leadership skills Oral/written/email communications Working ahead of and to timelines Teamwork/collaboration IT proficient with use of Microsoft including Excel/Word, other external software, and our standard WMS Forklift (Flexi/Bendi) certification is preferred Liasing with other key stakeholders/depts to produce more effective and efficient procedures Maintaining a clean and H&S conscious working environment both int/ext inc. use of PPE KPI analysis and measurement of operational performance Team management To be at all times an effective and supportive 'go to' member of the team.
