Description
* Lead and develop the accounting function, shaping team structure, capability and processes to support business goals.
* Improve financial reporting routines, ensuring timely, accurate outputs for monthly, annual and group requirements.
* Oversee cashflow and working-capital monitoring, introducing tools and insights that support performance improvements.
* Manage statutory reporting and audit activity, maintaining strong financial controls and driving policy, process and system enhancements.
* Support organisational change and growth initiatives, including legal entity simplification and financial due diligence for acquisitions.
Profile
A successful Accounting Manager should have:
* Fluent Spanish speaking skills are essential
* Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
* Proven experience in a leadership role within the accounting and finance department.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry is advantageous.
* Ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
