O2 Daisy is a bold new business, combining Virgin Media O2 Business’s fixed and mobile network innovation with Daisy’s digital-first operations and deep B2B expertise. We have one simple mission: to provide the tech that makes every business better.
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will drive the security strategy for JET, safeguarding systems, data, and applications by embedding robust, risk-appropriate security practices across the business. The role involves engaging with the CEO, Board, and senior leaders to promote a culture of security awareness, representing JET externally with customers, partners, and regulators, and leading global policies and standards, security operations, and crisis management. The CISO will also support sales and consulting engagements as a virtual CISO (vCISO) for enterprise and public sector clients, balancing business needs with security imperatives to position JET as a trusted, secure partner.

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Responsibilities
* Lead security strategy, operations, and programs across a complex organization.
* Adapt to situations requiring critical thinking to identify goals, tasks, and priorities.
* Assess and mitigate security risks; apply relevant frameworks and regulations (ISO27001, CIS, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).
* Lead security incidents, breaches, and outages, remaining calm and effective under pressure.
* Communicate complex security concepts to executives, boards, and external partners to build consensus and trust.
* Articulate the organisation’s security posture in client-facing scenarios.
* Act as a trusted security advisor (e.g., vCISO) and support client engagements.
* Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and standards to strengthen resilience.
* Hands-on implementation of controls, audits, vulnerability assessments, and responses to threats.
* Foster a collaborative, high-integrity security culture and lead security teams.
* Assess and remediate security risks during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
* Support RFPs, solution design, and customer presentations, translating security into business value.
