:
1. Preparation of antimicrobic solutions in accordance with relevant SOPs and in line with production paperwork - weighing, dissolution and dilution
2. Set-up and monitoring of production dispensing pumps, to enable on time and quality production output - pouring, priming and weight checks
3. Manufacture of various necessary ancillary solutions – ID media, buffers and excipients
4. Compliance checks of laboratory equipment and instrumentation – pipettes, balances and extractors
5. Maintain and monitor raw material stock levels – consumables, intermediates and equipment
6. Support the laboratory by washing and autoclaving equipment – pumps, glassware and other items
7. Utilise computer software to process information – SAP ERP, Microsoft Office and bespoke programs
8. Further duties and responsibilities as required by the business and within the ability of the post holder.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
9. Ideally educated to A-level standard in a scientific subject
10. Capable of following standard operating procedures and H&S guidelines
11. Good teamwork and communication skills
12. Able to organize and prioritise tasks under own initiative
13. Attention to detail when following procedures and keeping manual records
14. Ability to perform complex manual tasks with dexterity
15. Computer literacy would be beneficial
16. Laboratory experience is an advantage
17. Exposure to a fast-paced high throughput manufacturing type environment would be valuable
