This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, being outdoors, and providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities
* Sorting and preparing mail/parcels at the local delivery office
* Loading delivery vehicles efficiently
* Delivering letters and parcels using a planned route
* Using a handheld device for navigation and customer signatures
* Completing deliveries on foot and by vehicle (up to 8 miles walking per day)
* Handling parcels and mail bags (up to 20kg)
Requirements
* Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Strong customer service approach
* Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work in all weather conditions
* Previous delivery or driving experience is desirable but not essential
