Job Title: IT CategoryManager (Fixed Term Contract)

We are partnered withA leading financial services organisation who is seeking an IT Category Managerto join our Procurement team on a fixed-term contract. In this role, you willmanage and implement the UK & Ireland Procurement strategy, ensuringpliancewith FCA/PRA requirements, increasing efficiency, and reducing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, assess, and challenge business requirements.
2. Coordinate the delivery of processes and initiatives, establishing best-in-class policies, processes, or services.
3. Develop and implement the Category Strategy when not supported by a Global Category Manager.
4. Manage UK&I Procurement processes, policies, and procedures (, RFP, RFI) in line with local and Group requirements.
5. Negotiate and implement contracts for IT Categories, ensuringpliance with agreed service, performance, quality, and delivery levels.
6. Understand budget approaches with Finance and business budget owners to ensure budget definition, Utilisation, optimisation, andpliance.
7. Utilise procurement tools and best practices to increase efficiency and quality, contributing to procurement savings and KPI objectives.
What You’ll Bring:
8. Recent experience in supporting IT initiatives, including software, unifiedmunications, SaaS, digital data, and cloud migration.
9. Experience supporting a broader range of indirect categories.
10. A team player focused on ensuring the success and respect of the procurement team across different functions.
11. CIPS qualifications would be desirable
12. An understanding of FCA / PRA regulations
