Role
We are looking for an analytically-minded Underwriting Assistant - you will create quotes and partial entries, mapping and entering data into the underwriting system. This is a great entry-level role into Underwriting.
Description
* Pre and post underwriting risk data analysis
* Answer queries from credit control department, data entry outsource providers
* Calling and liaising with brokers as necessary
* Creation and monitoring of renewal list, weekly risks and claims reports
Skills Required
* You will have a demonstrable interest in a career in insurance and underwriting.
* An understanding of Lloyd’s and the insurance market, industry and people.
* Good mathematical ability and problem solving aptitude
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
* An interest in undertaking the CII exams
* IT skills (Word, Excel and other software packages used within the business)
