Job Title: Technical Sales Manager
Are you a technically minded professional with a passion for building client relationships and driving growth?
We’re looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Manager who can combine engineering insight with commercial drive to help us grow our client base.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Sales Manager, you’ll act as the bridge between our engineering team and our customers — understanding complex technical requirements, offering tailored solutions, and nurturing long-term relationships with clients across high-performance industries.
Job Role
* Develop and manage new business opportunities within the aerospace and industrial sectors.
* Work closely with clients to understand technical needs and propose/quote appropriate acoustic solutions.
* Prepare and deliver proposals and bids.
* Attend trade shows, industry events, and client site visits to promote our capabilities.
* Maintain and grow key accounts through regular communication and solution updates.
* Collaborate with engineering/project management teams to ensure project feasibility and accurate scoping.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
* Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business strategy.
Requirements (Essential)
* Experience in technical sales, business development, or customer-facing engineering roles.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Self-starter attitude with commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events (UK and international).
Additional Details
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5:15 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
After 5 years of service, holiday entitlement increases to 30 days plus bank holidays.
Must be a UK Resident and have the right to work in the UK.
