Registered Children's Home Manager – South Shields
A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for this role, along with a willingness to obtain business insurance.
Experience in Children's Residential care is essential.

The Role: Requirements include
* A Level 3 qualification in residential childcare.
* A Level 5 qualification in leadership and management for children and young people's workforce or a willingness to work towards it.
* A driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Previous experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
* Flexibility.
* An open, inclusive style of interaction with people.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt style for different audiences.
* The ability to handle a complex workload, meet deadlines, and prioritise demands.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Clear and concise writing skills, capable of handling long and complex documents.
* The ability to manage difficult situations with emotional intelligence, empathy, tact, and diplomacy.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Pay Rate:
£45,000 – £50,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
An allowance of £75 per sleep-in will be paid.
Mileage reimbursement at 40p per mile.
On-call payments at £45 per call.
Shift Information:
40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with actual hours determined by the monthly rota, including weekends, waking nights, bank holidays, day shifts, evenings, sleep-ins, and on-call duties.
