Are you passionate about driving change and supporting strategic transformation? We’re looking for a motivated and organised Project Support Manager to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) at Royal Blackburn Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that plays a key role in delivering high-impact projects across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you’ll manage your own projects while also supporting wider transformation initiatives. You’ll be responsible for maintaining project documentation, tracking performance, coordinating governance processes, and producing high-quality reports and presentations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across clinical, managerial, and administrative teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively and aligned with strategic priorities.

You will:
* Manage and support delivery of projects across the Trust, including maintaining project plans and documentation.
* Coordinate reporting processes and produce clear, concise reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
* Lead stakeholder engagement and ensure effective communication across project teams.
* Support the PMO in maintaining governance frameworks and assurance processes.
* Align project tracking with data from Information Services, Finance, and HR.
* Promote best practice in project management and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Attend and present at key meetings, boards, and PMO forums.
* Monitor project resources, risks, and interdependencies, escalating issues as needed.

* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience/training

* Project Management and qualification or equivalent experience

* Understanding of project management methodology and experience of maintaining project documentation including creating or contributing to reporting
* Experience working on a change management project
* Experience of analysing and interpreting data
* Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
* Understanding of NHS and social care strategic and operational planning processes

* Experience of interacting with clinical and operational areas and department

* Digitally confident with good IT skills and a flexible approach to learning and using new software solutions
