Job Description:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at appropriate level of qualification. If electrically qualified, a current Electro-technical Certification Scheme (ECS) Card is required.
* Up-to-date proof of Qualifications.
* City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Time served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
* Understanding of Quality Management, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement processes (desirable).
* Dual or multi-skilled with core skills preferably in Electrical.
* Management experience required.
* Willingness to travel between two sites.
* Mechanical or plumber experience would be advantageous.
Duties of this role include:
* Providing engineering maintenance and breakdown support to hospital clusters.
* Offering technical, health, safety, and environmental support to EDs, hospital managers, project managers, and minor works managers.
* Assisting engineering technicians and assistants across sites.
* Collaborating with hospital operations managers to ensure appropriate engineering coverage and meet SLA and on-call requirements.
* Coordinating with subcontractors and contractors to ensure efficient, safe work completion with proper record-keeping.
