On the look out for a brand new part-time job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else? We have permanent contracts for 20-30 hours per week and relief opportunities too if you're looking for something a bit more flexible.
You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of young people and adults with disabilities and additional support needs in the Motherwell and Wishaw communities.
For these particular opportunities, the majority of your time will be spent out in the community supporting the people we support with their hobbies and activities.
Some of the individuals are also studying at college, so you will support them to attend their courses too. Due to the person we support enjoying going swimming on a regular basis, you must be confident in and around the water.
Some of the people we support also need some help with daily living tasks too which will involve support to appointments, shopping, meal planning, cooking housework, finances, medication and personal care.
We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need previous experience in care as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the skills you'll need. For these opportunities, a driver with a full UK manual driving licence is essential as the people we support have their own mobility cars and use them often.
