What will you do as a Senior Support Worker?
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment for young people. Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead and manage shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
* Support and mentor Support Workers, providing guidance and leadership
* Safeguard young people, promoting their welfare and acting as a positive role model
* Plan and coordinate activities, encouraging engagement and development
* Develop and review care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies
* Communicate effectively with staff, young people, and external professionals
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory standards
* Promote independence and life skills, helping young people achieve their potential
* Respond to incidents and manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
